Hello all. My name is Daniel Russell 29yo from Winslow, AZ. I have been playing poker for about 6 years now. (mainly live, but have played online for recreational purposes) My online alias is GOTHICSTINK for every site I have played on. Though my online results are nothing to brag over, I do have a very deep understanding of the game and do very well for myself live. So please, don't judge me based on my online results. I have been getting more and more serious about the game as days go by and would like to one day do it for a living. And I know this takes a lot of work. Work which I am more than willing to put in!!
What I would love more than anything, is a backer for either live or online poker here in the U.S. Considering I have no references in the poker world right now, I am more than willing to start from the bottom and move up. This is not something that needs to happen right away. In fact, I would like some time for me and any potential backers to get to know each other as to build some trust. I would actually like to start at the beginning of this next year, but am definitely willing to start right away if needed. I am willing to play tournaments or cash games. (though cash games are my bread and butter). Heads up and 6-max are by far my best games.
I will be able to put in some decent volume as I only work a couple days a week at my local hospital. That leaves me with AT LEAST 3 days a week to grind. And when I say grind, I mean grind! Usually putting in close to 10 hours a day. Online, I can do about 2 tables at a time. I don't like to play more than that because I feel I miss too much playing so many at once.
All I really need is a chance. I believe I am a valuable asset to any backer because I work hard, study hard, and play hard!!! I am constantly trying to up my game and become a better player, and I believe that having a backer will help me make the optimal decisions every time not being worried about the money. I have accounts on ACR, Carbon, and Bovada. Pm me if interested! I know its a long shot, but I am sure someone out there will see my potential. Thanks for reading!
