What I’m looking for! KNOWLEDGE. Although I’ve been playing Hold’em since I was 13 I feel my skills have reached a plateau. An experienced backer with options for coaching (i.e. videos, one-on-one, etc) will certainly piqué my interest.

I’ve been a 2+2 lurker for quite some time but as you can probably imagine I don’t have any 2+2 posts/references. My brother, who was an avid player, is my only poker related reference. However, if a reference for judge of character is all that is needed, I do have a few.

Although I’ve been playing on Cake I’m ready to grind on other US friendly sites with more traffic. I’m looking to play micro-low NLHE SnGs and MTTs. My primary focus will be on the $5 SnGs (Single table-Five table). Like I said I’m young and moldable so I’m open to any suggested game play where you believe I will succeed.

I’m comfortable 6-tabling and putting in 8 hours a day. I don’t know exactly how many games that equates to but I believe 400-500 SnGs a week is realistic and doable. Ideally I’d like to be staked for my next 5,000 games and by my math that’s approximately 10 weeks. Please don’t let this affect your decision for I’m open to other terms, short or long.

I'm playing poker for around 8 years I think, just as hobby. Won some, loose some.
I had some private problems the last few year and in 2012 I decide to disontinue my own company. Also worked as cashgame dealer (homegame) for 2-3 days a week for a couple of months this year, and also quitte with that.
I was looking for something new, I decide to give poker a change for living. Not to many shots and lets do some brm. Around 1 mai I started with this by grinding sng and mtt. This was pretty well and my stats went up quietly. Lucky and happy as me I shipped the bigger 11 in mai, a very good start and helped me alot with private ****.
Unfortunately getting in a down swing and before I went for a ca 4 weeks holiday, brm wasn't what is was. After the holiday the swing stays, and now i'm at the point that I concluded that mixing a private roll with online roll isnt work that well. Time for me to look around in the world of staking/backing. In this way I hope there are some opportunities.

Off course there must be build trust between the backer and horse, so starting very low isnt a problem. My preference to be stacked for minimum:
Regular mtt: up to $33
Turbo mtt: up to $16,50
Regular rebuy mtt:up to $11
Turbo rebuy mtt: up to $8
SNG 180: up to $15
SNG 45: up to $15
And some higher major mtts as a big 55 etc.
As said before, building up trust with grinding low mtt/sng isnt a problem!

I am looking for steaks for yahoo! PRO fantasy football leagues. I played in 7 of them last year with two firsts, a second, and a third, which came out to exactly 100% ROI.

I also played in 8 other leagues last year against other members of the 2p2 fantasy football subforum and got 3 firsts, a second and a third. Mass-tabling 15 leagues I managed a 225+% ROI. (PM me and I'll show you screenshots and links to threads or whatever other proof you might require.)

Hi my name is Derek. Im 31yrs old and have played poker for about 8yrs. I have had success playing live as well as online and have been sucked in to the game ever sense. How ever i struggle with the bankroll management part of the game. I struggle threw the down swings and run bust after 6 or 7months from a score. I have had to pick up two jobs in the last 7yrs after busting my rolls one i had almost givin the game up for good and had takin about 1yr off from poker. I then came back for one live tournament i did out of something to do that i missed. it was a 225 tournament with roughly 120players.. I won this tournament for 6k at which point i put 200 online to play with and began winning about 1k every day for a week... I then jumped back in and here i am after 8months i have exhausted my roll once again...

A lil of my live poker background...
I have not played much live. I have played 3 $200 satty to 1k buy-ins and won 2 of 3 i have played two 1k buy-in events 1 of which i final tabled it was only 110 players or something so nothing special. I have played in canterbaryparks in minnesota fall poker classic events roughly 5 and of those 5 i final tabled 2 of them buy-ins ranged from 200 to 300. I won a promotional $200 tournament at Diamond Joes casino in Iowa other then that i have only played a few $100 buy in tournaments and a hand full of $50 which i have cashed roughly 50% of them..

My name is David, I'm 23 years old and come from Norway. Not been playing poker for a very long time, but i am very dedicated to my game and have a enormous will to improve.

My winnings this year is roughly 80K. Including a win in the Bigger 55, final table at Super Tuesday, 2nd place in 320$ 6max, all at pokerstars. So i'm fairly confident in my play, just need to put thing into system and use proper BRM. And I'm 100% confident my play will make it worthwhile for any potencial backers.

My problem however has been brm issues. Busted my 34K bigger 55 win, playing H versions of scoop events...

Been playing about 550 mtt's in 2013 with avg buy in being about 125$ so the brm management have been horrible. But what i have done is played high stakes, against the best and performed well. The problem as said have been playing outside my br.

A bit tired of this and just want to grind myself back up to the high stakes, where I know i can perform. Played alot against the top regs and been doing well.

What I am looking for?

Looking for a staking deal for MTT. low/mid would be a good place to start. Can obv start as low as you want, to earn trust and to prove than I'm a winning player.

I've played about hundred smaller live tournaments in Tallinn and several hundred hours of live cash, mostly €1-1 and €2-2 here. Online I've played pretty much everything with tournaments bringing home the biggest part of my earnings. I had a goal and prop bets of going to SNE starting from $500 with 6max hypers but ran about 520 BIs under EV which made me cancel that project. It gave me a better understanding of and tolerance to variance. I work on my game a lot, I've had some coaches, read a lot, am currently subscribed to Leggopoker and Tournamentpokeredge where I watch videos almost daily and I also lurk arond the high stakes tournament section. I haven't been active in 2+2 but I have +3k posts on an Estonian poker forum where I've been around for years.

I've sold shares before on Estonian forums and I've distributed a bit more than €20k of profits to investors promptly without any problems. Information about those can be found here and in the later pages of my thread here. These are in Estonian but google translate might help a bit. I don't have any references here but most of the Estonian players can say I'm the real deal, including ranka666, chucknorrisq, hotcocaest, markovitsus, henri72 and many others. (these are their Stars usernames, can find out their 2+2 users if necessary).

I'm very well rolled for online play but I want to take my live play to next level. So far I've participated only in APPT Queenstown where I cashed 3 out of 6 events including ME, though smaller ones were not recorded due to small number of participants and EPT Barcelona, where i won a satty and also finished 12th in ME as mentioned above. Looking forward I'd like to reach some sort of deals for Prague poker festival in december and maybe even for EPT London to which I've already sold some shares. Of course it would be good to get a longer term deal and it can include online play as well if necessary.
