1)pros: leverage ace knowledge

2)pros: can accordingly use wet boards too bluff in the right spot: heads up pot

3)pros: can play suited connectors fine as i know of

4)pros: will protect hands vs players in drawy boards

won't protect my hand on boards like this vs tight player

since the Ah is out their hard for him to get a flush if he s tight and only plays big pairs and AT+ for example
hes drawing fairly thin with this hand range
so I let him see a turn and will raise turn no matter what
unless a kill action card comes like and ace a king a queen a jack or a ten then I call or check call

Hello, as my profile shows I've been on 2+2 since 2011 and have been playing NLH for over 15 years. I started out at home games and online and later graduated to the casino after poker rooms opened in the Philadelphia area. I also ran a home game from 2010 - 2016. Unfortunately online play is still illegal in PA at the date of this post but I have been tracking all of my live play since 2014 and will gladly share my records. All of the local poker rooms know me, many by name.

Now to get to why I'm here. A friend of mine made bet with me at the end of last year that he would make more in tournaments this year than I would in cash. The friendly wager (a bottle of spirits) nudged me to move up from 1/2 NLH (60-300) to 2/5 NLH (200-1000). I have played 1/2 to 2/5 before but since I spend out of my bankroll it had been difficult to stay at 2/5 in the past. With the added motivation this year I've been doing much better than expected. January and Feb were off the charts, I had my first child at the end of February however and the $10k hospital bill, loss of a second income from the wife, and added expenses have prevented me from continuing where I left off. With a stake I could continue to expand my game and share the profits along the way. I'm looking for a weekly full stake 1k buy in (Previously I had been buying $600 twice a week before the baby and making better than 100/hr over ~90 hrs of live play). We can discuss if it makes sense to have a reserve / re-buy available. Let's try it for 3 months with a 2 month buy out option. Serious inquiries please feel free to contact me for further details.
