Is anyone in here interested in live staking?
What would it take for me to get your attention?

I'm a 31 year old guy from Belgium, Antwerp.
I've been playing poker on and off since around 2008.
I started playing again in March this year (2019)

My main interest is live MTT's.
We've got a local club, at which I've been spending most of my time playing.
They host tournaments each weekend.

These are all €20 buy-in and usually have between 30-70 participants.
I'm currently totally crushing these.
I've played 61 of these since March 2019 and my ROI at the time of writing this is 98%.
Bought in for €1220 total, cashed out for €2425.
I've cashed 21 times over 61 tournaments for an ITM of 34%.

I've taken a few shots at larger tournaments in the local casino's (the one with the best tournaments is about a 1,5 hours drive)
But no luck in those so far.
I've only played 6 and cashed only in the smallest one.

At the casino of Namur they regularly host bigger tournaments, but I currently do not have the money to play these.

I've taken a few shots at live cash games as well, but no luck there so far either.
I don't have the bankroll to play these at all either.

Online I'm currently playing 2NL Zoom 6-max to improve my game.
I've played 60k hands since June 2019
This month (October) I've played 12k hands so far.
Last month (September) I've played 36k hands.

I'm getting coaching from a pro online player ever Friday since a few weeks, which is also pretty awesome.

I have a part time job as a web developer and no plans to quit at the moment.
I do intend to quit once I'm seeing significant results over a large sample, let's say in two or three years with some luck.

I'm mostly interested in staking for live MTT's from €100 up to €550.

I'm also interested in staking and/or coaching for live cash games starting at €2/2 with a max buy-in of €300
The rake is pretty brutal at these though.

I'm willing to provide further details in personal messages if anyone has an interest in me.

Feel free to ask questions here or through a personal message.

So I've changed up a few things since I last posted here.

I've switched from online cash games to online tournaments.
Played 45 & 180 SNG's mostly and adding in some scheduled MTT's when I feel like it.
Starting at the low stakes $0.25, $0.50 and $1.

Online I've played 289 tournaments over the past month.
113 x $0.25 with a ROI of 45.84%
116 x $0.50 with a ROI of -32.05%
49 x $1 with a ROI of 39.22% (mostly because of a 3rd place in a 180)
and a few scheduled $1.10 MTT's

which makes for a total of:
289 tournaments
52 cashes
17.99% ITM
17.94% ROI

I'll also include a link to my SharkScope, which also has a lot of older tournaments from years ago and a few $5+- scheduled MTT's from before this month.

https://www.sharkscope.com/#Player-S...players/Yeodan

Live I only played 10 tournaments over the past month.
Had some health issues and wanted to spend more time playing at home.

I cashed 2x out of those 10, once for €120 and once for €170 for a total of €290 or a ROI of 45%

My totals are now:
71 €20 tournaments played
32% ITM
91.20% ROI

I'm currently looking for the best way to improve my tournament play.
Hoping I can find a good stable and/or CFP coach.
Also seriously considering buying the RYE masterclass, at least the first part for now.

I'm no longer looking for live cash staking, just tournaments!

Still interested!

Mainly interested in live MTT's.
Also interested in live cash games.

Might be interested in online staking + coaching.

Live poker is a bit dead at the moment.

Here are my stats so far:

Played 105 low stakes MTT's for a total of €2.190 and cashed out €3.240 + €165 in bounties for a profit of €1.215 and a ROI of 55.48%

I've played 15 larger MTT's, larger field, larger buy-in, but haven't had any luck in any of them.
Played for a total of €3.089 and cashed out €145 + €145 in bounties for a total loss of €2.799 and a ROI of -90.61%

Not too worried about this, larger fields, games are a bit harder, variance is a lot higher.
I've only played 15 and just haven't run very good.

I expect someone who's interested in staking me to understand variance. Especially if we're going to play a lot of larger buy-in MTT's.

I don't feel the larger tournaments are that different from the smaller ones and I should be able to beat them.

I expect my ROI in the low stakes small MTT's to go up a bit as well, haven't been running great so far this year.

Online I'm starting to beat 2NL zoom on PokerStars.
Planning on moving up to 5NL soon.

I'm mostly playing online to study and improve.

Took a long break from online poker after a crazy downswing last year.
Started building up again last month.

I'd love to talk!

Still looking for live MTT and/or cash staking.

I am committed to maintaining unwavering faith that I will become a professional poker player and I will continue putting forth extraordinary effort until I do so, there is no other option.

I've restarted RCP CORE to work on and review all the basics.
I'm actually studying the course, limiting myself to just 1 topic or lesson a day, taking notes and most importantly, writing down actions I can take at the live tables to improve my game.
Some examples: calculate SPR on each flop, which makes me keep track of the stack sizes and pot, calculate pot odds on each bet (even when I'm not in the hand), estimate implied odds, ...
Mostly basic stuff for now, but I need to work on that stuff!
Also actually trying to think about how the strategies they suggest impact the games I play, where people play too many hands and generally haven't studied any poker.

I'm trying to get back into live play, but there's not much going on.
Shot 4 bullets at the Rozvadov €175 Benelux Classics last month, no luck there.
Trying some smaller weekly tournaments of €60 / €120 in Brussel (Viage), planning to go back to Namur starting in October.

I'd love to get some results on my hendon mob profile.

I'd like to add some cash games, but they cancelled all the 2/2 games and the lowest stakes are now €2/4, rake seems pretty decent though 5% €20 cap.

I'm still not enjoying playing online, so not much to say on that.

I'm also seeing a mental coach / sports psychologist once a month to help me put things into context and to guide me in becoming a better poker player.
Not because I need therapy, but because I'm very serious about becoming a professional poker player and I can use the guidance!

Still interested in staking!
What would it take for me to get your attention? Please PM me!

I'm currently playing online a lot to work on my game.
There currently is no (legal) live poker in Belgium due to Corona.

I am still very interested in live staking.

I'm also figuring out this online thing.
I've never really enjoyed playing online, but I'm now playing online a lot and figuring things out as I go.

I have played 1125 online MTT's since November 2020.

Of these 195 were small field SnG MTT's, the $4.50 on demand on PokerStars, with around 70-110 players.
I have a ROI of 20.91% at the time of writing this.
Being pretty unlucky deep, with five 2nd places and only two 1st places and a combined 25 3rd to 9th places.

930 were larger field MTT's with iirc an average of around 2000 players, making variance just insane.
I've made a few deep runs, but no top 3's, so no positive ROI for now.

I'm certain I'm a winning player, this is just standard variance.
I believe the big field MTT's are softer than the SnG's where I am a winning player.

I've been winning for 4.8bb/100 over 122k hands.
If I filter for effective stacks below 80bb this goes down a bit to 2.65bb/100 over the total sample.

When I filter for my last 70k hands my total win rate goes down a bit to 4.22bb/100
But my win rate below 80bb goes up to 3.33bb/100
I have been playing less deep stack tournaments, so this make sense.

When I filter for the previous 50k hands, my total win rate is a bit higher at 5.54bb/100, I believe this is because I played a lot of deeper MTT's with very bad players and just running better overal.
My win rate below 80bb goes down to 1.72bb/100, which is what I've been working on the last few months.

I'm still working on my game as hard as I can.
Got a sub to RIO essential, power equilab and HRC.

I also bought the RIO MTT FTGU course, which I'm going through now.

I'm currently playing full time.
Struggling a bit with only playing online, since my true love is live poker.

When live poker is back, I plan to grind a lot!
Playing the lowest stake cash games I can find, might be 2/2 or 2/4.

If I find a backer I can also grind every live MTT I can find, probably playing 6/7 days a week!

So I'm still looking for an investor interested in staking me for live poker!

Are there any live players or investors who are interested in something like the following:

- You pay all my expenses and stake me
- Any profit, the expenses are paid back first, then we split the remaining profit (60/40 in your favor?)
- I'm willing to commit to this deal for a long period of time, say 2 years?
- I move in with you, or somewhere near you
- We play together in nearby live games and you coach me

I'm 99% sure I'm a winning player in low stakes live games.

I've been crushing the live €20 tournaments, which haven't run for a year now.
I've been crushing live cash games, but have a small sample, since they didn't run for a year either.
I now have 50 hours of live cash tracked, mostly 1/1 and I'm winning at 28/h
Yes, tiny sample, but it's all I got atm.

After the 2 years we could make a new deal, once I've proven to be a long term winner.
You can keep paying all my expenses and we split the profit 70/30 in my favor, something like that.

My eventual goal is to transit from a live cash pro to a live tournament pro.

If you're an investor and not a player reading this.
We could still make this deal, I'd find a new place to live near a casino.
Instead of you coaching me, you pay for my coaching (and we add that to the expenses, which I pay back with profit)

I am 100% committed to keep playing poker and to keep working on my game.
I have been for more than 2 years now.

If I have access to a bankroll and games I will play 40h+ / week!
Both are becoming less and less of an issue for me, since my bankroll is growing.
Nearby casino's in Belgium are still closed and they only run 2/4, which I don't feel extremely comfortable playing with only a 10 BI bankroll.

I'm 100% willing to come meet you in real life to set up this deal.
I'll even move to the other side of the world and learn a new language for this opportunity.

I fully realize taking on a new/starting poker player is a huge risk, since most of them just end up quitting.
I won't quit. I will keep going! I'm going to make it as a live poker pro!! With or without help.
