My name is Joey Gargiulo. Before Black Friday I was a fierce Bad Ass online player. I won my way to three televised final tables and have been to the final table in the PS Sunday Millions as well as winning the Main Event Grand Prize Dream Package in the Daniel Negreanu Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure challenge ($10,000 entry into the main event at Atlantis along with free roundtrip tickets for 2 and a $5,000 spending account to cover expenses or entries into other tournaments).

Well, I've been grinding it out at the local New York & Florida cardrooms ever since Black Friday and in March I officially brought my game on the WSOP & WPT circuits. I started off strong but had final table bubble issues placing 10th three times in a row including in a WPT plo championship as well as in a WPT main event where I won $48k off of a $149 satellite entry. At that main event in Choctaw I had the honor of spending my entire day 1 with Chance Kornuth at my table. I was very impressed by his skills even though he never won a hand against me at showdown. On day 3 I had the pleasure to play with Chance again in addition to his good friend Alex Foxen, Kristen Foxen, Steve "Cuz" Buckner, Ray Qartomy, and so many other highly successful players (too many to name).

Chance went on to win that WPT Televised main event and I found a roll model to envy. I joined Chance's amazing online coaching school that he runs featuring Alex Foxen (www.clcpoker.com) and 14 weeks into the intense 16 week program I shattered my final table bubbles placing 3rd in a WSOP Circuit event. A month after I completed the training I won my very first WSOP Championship Gold Ring in the very first event I entered after all that crazy studying. The next day I entered the final flight of the WSOP main at Pompano and placed 23rd for another nice cash. Since then I've cashed in 2 out of every 5 events I enter and I've made 3 more final tables including starting as the final table chipleader at the WPT Hard Rock HORSE Championship.

I've learned a lot of great things from the coaching I've received from Chance and Foxen and I continue to improve my game each and every hand I play. I value their opinion and they are advising that finding backers is a necessity.
