I'm new to the actual buying and selling of shares on 2p2. I made a package this sunday last minute and sold it and had a successful experience and was happy.

A number of times I have considered buyin action but am far too much of a nit to do so.

You stated that you were interested in other suggestions and here is mine. I would like to sell a package in an auction setting. I would like to post my package and have bidding open and close to determine mark-up. For those people that would like priority access there could be a buy it now option where they purchase at top markup prices. As I sold more often and earned more of a name for myself I would like a "rating" based on how many buyers rated me one to five scale. Those are my loosely put together thoughts about that.

I don't know if buyers would like that though, but maybe they would with a buy it now option

OK, here's what we have for now. There are now two paid forums available:

Commercial Marketplace
Classified Listings

For regular posters here who aren't promoting an actual company, CM threads are available for $100/month or less depending on the length of commitment.

Classified Listings are available for $30/month without any links, pics, etc; $60/month with.

Anyone who has a thread in either forum can have an undertitle of "See my Commercial Marketplace thread" or "See my Classified Forum listing", or put the same in their location field if they have an undertitle they don't want to override. Perhaps there might be a way to include "Staking" in there.

The idea here is to provide stakers (or others) looking for a way to stand out from the crowd to be able to promote themselves a little bit. A CM thread allows you a little more freedom in what you can post, and won't get lost in the sea of threads in the staking forums. Same goes for a CL forum listing, but that is just a single post without replies.

Letting people pay to get stickied threads sounds awful.

It would be a subtle way to increase visibility without having to resort to an entire page full of paid stickies.
