My name is Andrew Mackenzie and I live in Las Vegas. I Work part time with a flexible schedule and grind the daily tourneys out here pretty hard. Probably average 4 per week sometimes more sometimes less. Wife is more risk adverse than I am so IÂ’ve been mostly limited to the $200 and under daily schedule, but would like to find backing to jump up to the more lucrative events at the Wynn/ Venetian/ wsop /anywhere there is a good series going on.

Gl man i respect the grind, but god damn seeing those 15-30$ hourlys really hurt my eyes like i can't imagine sitting there playing live poker just to make that amount per hour let alone grinding mtt's. Get out of vegas and take like a 3 month business trip to mexico/canada or california

But seriously how are you playing 250-300 hours per month and not burning out after the first month??? what kind of drugs are you on or maybe you just actually love the game that much... i have no idea either way it takes guts/fortitude

You must have missed the part about ignoring the hourly because I often forget to close out tournaments on app until sometimes days later when I play the next one. But yes, I love the game. Tournament poker takes grit, and I absolutely love the challenge of overcoming adversity on an almost daily basis and finding my way to the win. DoesnÂ’t matter if itÂ’s a $60 tourney or a $25k high roller, nothing like being the last one standing when the dust settles. No drugs other than caffeine and nicotine, just the refusal to surrender to a 9-5. Living the dream!
