Hey guys,
As the title states, I’m looking to find a backer for the 100nl FR games on FTP. I just finished a 150k hand stake with2p2ers Newmanmi and LacieK, which went well.
Brief Background:
I started out like everyone else, depositing $50 and just moving up from there. I mostly just played casually and had pretty strict BRM. I grinded 25nl/50nl/100nl (all FR) and was up about $3k or so when I saw that WCGRider was looking to stake some micro players. Being the fan that I am, I applied, he accepted me, and we had a stake. We didn’t have a set number of hands to play, and we ended up ending the stake after 55k hands or so. It lasted a little over two months, from the end of December 2008 to the end of February 2009. I don’t have the exact dates written down, so my numbers might be a little off, but I think I ended up +$2.6k, give or take $300, and we chopped that 50/50. I was pretty burnt out on poker so after the stake, I ended up withdrawing the rest of my money.
My retirement lasted about three months, and then I got staked by 2p2er jeffman. Again, this stake didn’t have a set number of hands; we just played it by ear. This stake didn’t yield the same profits as my stake with Doug. A lot of it was just running bad, but I didn’t put in the volume I should have (I think I only played like 3k hands a week). A lot of this was due to it being my first summer as a 21 year old, and I spent a lot of time goofing around with friends. Also I had a gig dealing cards in a poker room, so I was busy doing that 3 nights a week. We ended the stake after three months or so of being barely above breakeven. I ended up being +4 BIs over 35k hands or so which we chopped 50/50.
I spent the rest of the summer dealing cards and then I moved to Lubbock for school. My initial plan was to get some crappy job, but instead I decided to get staked by Newmanmi and LacieK. I agreed to play 150k hands and the stake started on Oct 1, 2009 and I just finished the 150k hands Jan 31, 2010. The stake started off really well, but then I had the downswing of all downswings and I ended up at +$3571 after the 150k hands.
Now it is February and I am looking to find a new backer. I am taking 15 hours this semester so hopefully I will be able to play 20 hours a week or so. I play 12 tables at a time, sometimes less if action is slow.
Graphs and stuff:
Lifetime graph. You can see the downswing over the last 40k hands or so.
Lifetime stats. I filtered out stuff that I have less than 1k hands in to remove clutter. (But if you want to see that I am +2 BIs in .01/.02 NL or -3 BIs at .01/.02PLO, I can turn off all filters)
Stats for my stake with Newmanmi/LacieK. Obviously my downswing occurred at 100nl, hence the tiny winrate.
Spreadsheet for my stake with Newmanmi/LacieK, showing my weekly progress. I think I played 50nl until Dec 1.
I tried linking my PTR but it won't let me, but you can search me on there.

- LacieK
- I have done three or four transactions in the site-to-site transfer thread, all successful. No huge transactions though.
- I have purchased from three different people in the marketplace, all successful. Once again, no huge transactions, but everything did go smoothly.
- I also have placed tons of bets in the micro FR sports thread, and all those have been successful.
So if you are interested, see if the following sounds fair or profitable enough and send me a PM:
- We split the money won 50/50
- I get 100% of the rakeback
- I don't expect coaching/hh reviews/sweats, but if you are willing, let me know
- Initial investment of 20 BIs
- Stake to last 100k hands
Of course all of the above is negotiable, but I don't really want to give up much more. Like if you doubt my profitability at the tables, I can give up a percentage of my rakeback for a percentage of my action. And obviously, the initial investment and number of hands is negotiable too.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, or post in the thread. Or you can aim me, PM me for my sn.
