I'm Steve, 23 from the UK. I'm looking for a staker willing to put up £1k for a 200NL shot in return for 50% of my monthly winnings before rakeback. I would also cover £1k in potential losses to make it a 10 buy-in shot on the ipoker network. I hope this sweetens the deal and more importantly reflects my confidence in my own abilities.

Personal piece:

Been playing poker for 3 years or so around full-time education/employment. Made good money playing 25NL at Ongame when I was studying but when I picked up a full-time job my post-flop game stagnated and didn't improve as quickly as other regulars. I've been a RB grinder up until the last couple of months where I've been playing 50 and 100NL full-time and rapidly improving.

Why I want to be staked:

I think it's important for the staker to know why the stakee is willing to give up some EV. I'm currently saving for a teaching course and want to take a shot at 200NL because I see many of the weaker 100NL regs playing in the games. Unfortunately I know I wouldn't be comfortable with a -10buy-in hit.

What I'm looking for:

I'm looking for a staker to cover half of any losses at 200NL up to £1k, with a review of the agreement if I were to drop £500 of this investment (£1k in total). In return I would split pre-rakeback winnings 50/50 for the entire month. Even though it is a shot I'm taking, I feel this is a very generous offer for a staker who wants a cheap ++EV punt, particularly as I'm confident I'll be moving up regardless in 2-3 months.

I am open to negotiation on the terms but I would do course have to expect to be earning a higher average hourly myself (than I currently do at 100NL). I suspect coaching might be a significant factor in any negotiation.

Volume:

I would put in a minimum of 40k hands p/m playing 4-7 tables. I table select diligently.

How I currently Invest my time away from the tables:

In the mornings when the games aren't so good I discuss hands and postflop concepts with other winning low stakes players. I'm fortunate to be part of an excellent study group. I've read the Daily Variance e-books, have received coaching from several coaches and am currently studying hands of 400NL winners to further improve my non-showdown winnings.

A little about me and why I am looking for a stake right now :

I am 19, i currently go to Virginia Tech, about to be in my junior year. I have been playing poker for almost 2 years now with some pretty good results, I play MTT's only, i suck at cash so I'd only be looking to play MTT's. I consider myself to be a fairly good player with about a 75% mtt ROI, I even have some live mtt experience as Bodog sent me to Montreal in April to play in the poker pro classic. The reason I am looking for a stake is because I have had things going on in my life recently which has caused me to withdraw a large portion of my roll combined with playing high buyins and running extremely bad deep in those tourneys (set over set, aq>kk 100% of time etc.). I had to withdraw money because I needed to fix my car (airbags, windshield) which was pretty expensive and I'm moving into my new place so now I'm low on poker funds for the moment to play my game comfortably without going broke. This has caused me to look for a stake so I don't have to play on my own money for a while until I'm a little more comfortable financially to play on my own money again. I started play razz on october from 2€ now i play 20€/30€ and sometimes i shot 50 and 100€.

hello 2+2 I am ready to play some tournys tonight on full tilt, I usually do not go for the whole staking thing unless it is live, which i have very good success with. However I feel like I do play better when staked, so would like to try it online as I have been struggling for the big cash so far this year. Would love to make someone money on full tilt tonight via mtts, perhaps the midnight madness or a $26 dollar. I know trust is a big issue but if you are willing to take a gamble on me I will do my best to make sure it pays off.
