Looking to get staked and coached for MTTs in the range of $25-$109.

My background has mainly been cash games (NL and PLO) the last couple of years with some periods of MTTs.
I see myself having a good understanding and grasp of the game but lacking that guidance from someone better and more experienced. I am very motivated and have all the time in the world to put in the work that anyone expect from me.

Hey Tobias, I'm also part of a staking group and we'd be more than happy to have you formally apply. Your response to BBZ seems slightly out of line, as potential backers there is quite a bit more info that we need to make a solid judgement call than 2 filtered graphs you posted. How familiar are you with various types of solvers and calcs, what are your typical study habits, why would you hide the fact that you've played a ton of $215s, $530s, and $1k events? Sure you aren't looking for a stake to those specific buyins, but were those degen drunken tournies you played, did you satty into them, paylayed some small wins into a shot taking?
Why have you jumped around from cash to PLO and back to MTTs over the years?
Do you have any side jobs or is poker your sole source of income?
What references do you have, what type of study/staking relationships have you had previously?
Do you have money saved up for inevitable downswings that come along with MTTs or what is your plan if that happens?

They aren't huge red flags, but from a couple sentences and a copy/paste graph there's automatically some info that any backer needs clarification on, and the vast majority of that will be covered in a formal application with any legitimate backing group. Although I also said I'm happy to answer any questions in my DMs. On top of that my thread here is by far the most detailed in terms of results and in terms of information that is relevant for a backer to get a conversation started and take it from there.

Hey Tobias, You probably won't like this, but you need to hear this. You come off as very immature, not the most alluring trait a backer would want in a horse, although if looking for a positive I guess that means there is a lot of room for improvement.

1- start with the title to your staking thread- lose the "serious replies only!!!!" part , it makes you look like a fool.
You may only want serious inquiries, thats fine and understandable. But think of it this way, your essentially asking for help (a stake) because you either can't afford to play those games or just want to share risk. Asking for a stake, but also making demands looks silly. It's like a begger being choosey. Even worse the !!!! , I mean for real, how old are you? "serious inquires only please" would be so much better

Agree with that or not, learn from it or be offended. It's free advice, you don't have to take it.

2- the graphs are fine and well. Looks good, but if you were playing those stakes and crushing it why the need for the stake? If you are losing it at other stakes that is super relative even if you don't see that, Just looks suspicious. Actually think it would be much more beneficial (to you) if you posted those same charts , with some charts showing that you were losing at higher buy in tourneys. That would make sense at least.

Someone beating $100 buy in with a large sample, asking for a stake to play higher can make sense
Someone beating $100 buy in with a large sample, showing some graphs losing higher, explaining you lost your nut and needing a stake to go back to $100 buy ins to rebuild makes sense
Someone beating $100 buy in with a large sample, showing graphs crushing $100 buy in asking for a stake for $100 buy in makes no ****ing sense, not without some story
