Looking for short- or long-term live staking for local small-medium events Looking for short- or long-term live staking for local small-medium events

Hey, I think you all know me by now-- long-time successful tournament player who's been back in the game the last couple of years after a long hiatus; I've been extensively studying modern GTO approaches and solvers in that time, and I've been a winning player online over that period of time (albeit not as big as I would like to be).

I live in Colorado, and Bally's Black Hawk has tournament series pretty regularly-- beyond their regular dailies, there's two MSPT series a year, four Colorado Poker Championship series, and two Bally's Poker Open series.

The last couple of years I've been going to the events when I can and I've had some success. But I had a losing streak online earlier this year, and I've had some personal emergencies that have caused me to take a financial hit as well. So I can't afford to take as many shots as these tournaments as I'd like, but I think they are very good value. So I'm just posting to see if anyone is interested in staking me either for the upcoming Colorado Poker Championship (starting August 9) or for a long-term arrangement to play whenever there's a series going on.

You can see my live results and that I've had success here the last couple of years on the Hendon Mob:

Here's the schedule and structure sheet for the upcoming CPC:

https://casinos.ballys.com/black-haw...Structures.pdf

And the poker room's main page with other upcoming series:

I can't play every single event-- besides the limitations on events like the seniors and tag team, I've got some prior scheduling conflicts on some of these days-- but I hope to play as much as I can if I get a backer for this. I think my edge is very high here vs. the general population of unknowns at these stakes, and I'm also familiar enough with the setting and most of the regulars by now to have a good edge on them. If you're interested, DM me with what exactly you're interested in doing as far as short- or long-term, what terms you want to offer, any other information you want to offer, any inquiries into anything else you want to know about me, etc.

Holy moly, is that Hendon Mob photo from a mid 2000's WSOP event at the Rio? I play at Bally's frequently and I don't even recognize you. Let me tell you this about the tournament scene at Bally's. Compared to many poker markets, it's not easy and is dominated largely by regular grinders for the past 10 to 15 years. You often seen the same crowd of 30 to 50 players cashing.

Wish you the best in the upcoming CPC series. Imma gonna be looking for you though so I can put a face to a name.

Hah, yes, my guess from looking at that photo is that it's around 2007.

I've played a few events-- as you can see from that Hendon Mob page-- but I've found that there's a fair bit of live play style that can be taken advantage of. Or at least I feel like I still have a good advantage there, certainly compared to playing online. Although I've seen some younger guys play closer to optimal, there are a lot of older regs who don't necessarily play badly but do things that can be taken advantage of. And then especially in the big-field multi-day events there are some significant casual players.

I don't know how much I'll be able to play in the CPC, but I am for sure planning to play in the $500 HU no matter what. So keep an eye out if you want to. I don't look terribly much like that photo anymore, though.
