I'm currently seeking MTT Staking. My name is Brian Zimcosky, I'm 22 years old and from Michigan. I've been playing poker semi-professionally since I was 16, and as a full-time professional since graduating college (University of Michigan) in May 2010.

I was mostly an NL cash player for the past few years with tournaments mixed in. A few months ago, I began to transition to playing tournaments full time. NL cash online is definitely drying up quicker than MTTs, so I think there is much more money in MTTs. Unfortunately, I have not had the results I would like to have, and am seeking backing because the financial stress of playing High Stakes MTTs is more than I would like at the moment.

My results are not very consistent as I have only been playing tournaments full time for a couple months. I will fully admit that I struggled with the adjustment from cash to tournaments this summer when I played in about 15 WSOP events and didn't cash any. Since then I really have worked hard with a few of my good friends (HSMTT regs Fatsofat6969 and driverseati) to become a better MTT player and I think I have improved my game quite a bit. I still have room to grow as an MTT player, but I think my ability to reason through and think critically about hands is excellent.

In July of 2009, I won the Sunday Million on my own action for about $220k. Taxes and investments definitely take a bigger chunk out of a bankroll than you might initially plan! I lost about $30k in poker last year, most of that as a result of WSOP shot-taking, and not putting enough volume in smaller stuff, which I am definitely prepared to do now. I am also willing to grind satellites in order to cut into makeup and to play higher events.

As I said, my best friends in poker who I basically grind every Sunday with on Skype are Fatsofat6969 and driverseati. There are many people that I've met and talked poker with at various live events.

What I'm looking for in Staking:

-Reasonable % with makeup
-Opportunities to play FTOPS/WCOOP/SCOOP Events
-Playing most of the mid-high stakes weekday schedule up to 162's
-Opportunities to satellite into Live events
-Keeping my own cash action in exchange for covering my own expenses for live event travel
