Due to recent events, I am exploring interest in backing for 3/6 fixed limit omaha hi/lo which runs 5 days a week b/n two local casinos (Ameristar and River City) in St Louis. This action could include online action at sites that have remained open to US players. I was a regular Omaha Hi Lo MTT player on Stars/Tilt with a fair share of experience in SNGs and Cash play also. I have also been playing the 3/6 game at Ameristar occasionally since I turned 21 (26 now), so ~4-5years.

I am not new to staking. I have been a member of Parttimepoker.com since 2008. I do not have any definitive plans at the moment. I am merely searching for interest. If interested in discussing further pm here, ptp, or contact via skype: mynamespat.

It might be helpful if you have info on the rake structure.

imo, this is a big concern for someone considering staking a player at this level. Fequently at limits that low the rake can be close to unbeatable (esp if the game is nitty/reggy as opposed to complete droolers).

excellent point. I will make an effort to get out to one of the games this week on my own dime. Thus, I will be able to give a more detailed description of the games/action/rake. I would expect more action at the casinos with DoJ shutting down stars/tilt/ap. This has yet to be seen and how much action will trickle down to nonholdem has yet to be seen.

I will run out to Ameristar on Monday/Wednesday this week and get rake schedule at the very minimum.

Alright, I'm feeling lethargic today.. so I just used the telephone ;p..

The Ameristar has 3/6 flo8 running sund/mon/wed and a 5/10 flo8 which runs Fri/Sat. The rake for 3/6 game is 10%, no more than $4, first $1 taken postflop -pot @ $10, bad beat taken -pot @ 20.
The River City game runs Friday & Saturday. The rake is the same, besides not having a bad beat jackpot taken out.
I kinda forgot to ask about the 5/10 @ Ameristar's rake.

rakes the same in the 5/10 at Ameristar. Have you played cash online? What is your win rate and how many hands?
