Hello! I’m an heads-up player and I’m looking for a staking deal at 100NL.
Biography
I'm AzaFolkz, a 19 yo online poker player from France.
I'm in a business school but I have enough free time to play poker regularly.
I started playing 2 years ago with free bankroll. Starting at 2NL, I make the switch to 6-max quickly at 10NL and growing up to 100NL. 6 months ago, I was bored to play like a robot and decide to learn heads-up.
Actually, I play 100NL 2-max with a $19.2k roll. I've tried some shots at 200NL against who I supposed to be weak players but nothing exiting happened. When I'm a bit tired or when I play on my laptop, I could even play 50NL. Since I play, I’ve cashed out around $5k. That’s low because I don’t really have expenses (my parents help me to pay my student’s expenses).
Results
I've played on a lot of different places. I've probably tried all the possible places for a euro player. When I switched to heads-up, I elect to play on sites which cap the rake to $0.50. So I started on PartyPoker.com under the name “AzaFolkz” (http://www.pokertableratings.com/par...lkz/0.5-1-NL-2) and stop when they increase the cap to $1.
During the summer, I played (and win
) a lot on PacificPoker.com under the name “SEAT_HERE”. At the beginning of September, I switched to PokerStars.com for more traffic. I enjoy playing here under the nick “FRENCHBALLER” (http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...h/frenchballer).
Unfortunately, I can’t provide graphs from HM because my computer crashes recently and I lost all my databases. I could only give you this, from my laptop:
I know that’s nothing but you could at least expect that I’m not a total donkey!

Coaching
I coach (http://www.coachdepoker.com/repertoi...-azafolkz.html) a French poker player who wants to make the transition between 50NL 6-max and 50NL 2-max. I’m coached myself by bosoxx34 (http://www.deucescracked.com/coaches/bosoxx34). I read 2+2 everyday (I think I’m registered since maybe 2 years) but at the beginning I didn’t post a lot because my English wasn’t very fluent (I hope it is better now). I’m also known as “AzaFolkz” (over 2.5k posts) on the main French poker forum (Club Poker).
Why do I want to be staked?
Actually, I want to invest my money. I have an opportunity to trade LSE and other European trading places. Moreover, I plan on spending a small part of my roll in coaching (NLHU with bosoxx34 and I’m looking for someone to teach me PLO). Third, I may stack myself some 50NL players. And Finally, I will use some monies to buy a car (an Audi A4).
Staking Terms
That’s the first time I request a stack so I’m not very aware of the common rules or anything. I let the 2+2ers making me offers and I will choose the best.
Basically, I propose to split profits every week. I’ve got a Neteller VIP plus a Moneybookers account.
Because heads-up means a lot of variance, I think I need at least $2,5k to play 100NL, but something like $5k would be great, especially if my backer expects me to play deep tables.
I have a preference for PokerStars.com but I have no problems with playing on FullTiltPoker.com or any site of the Cereus Network.
I will provide you anything about me (photo, mobile phone and e-mail address) and I’m always available on Skype (azafolkz).
