I am gonna make this as short as possible. I am looking for a backer for live cash games, preferably 2/5 and higher, with the overall goal being to eventually play 10/20 or higher at various rooms around the country. Please keep in mind that this is the “goal” and not what it would (or should) look like in the beginning.

About me:
I am 31, married with two young children, and blessed to make enough base income to support my family entirely while my wife is a SAHM. This base income is enough to cover all of my families basic needs and requires minimal work on my part to receive this income. However; we donÂ’t have much leftover from this weekly check, and therefore I have used poker for the better part of a decade to improve our quality of life. I have always kept a small bankroll for low limit cash, and I will usually split my winning between my br and home. This has worked for me at low stakes for a long time, but has a lot of limitations. The biggest limitation is that I can only afford a couple buyins per session to stay within my br and that can lead the some very short and brutal variance filled sessions. I have also seen my br grow rapidly due to a strong upswing, only to come back down to earth during the inevitable return if variance. Even so, I have been a lifetime winning player for more than 10 years, and I have had 5 consecutive green years in a row. My struggle is that I havenÂ’t ever been able to break above the low stakes realm due to my overall br limitations, and I donÂ’t see a way that I can change this without luckboxing some massive tournament (not likely and I wont pin my hopes/dreams to that) or finding someone willing to put up the needed bankroll to play at the level I should be playing at.

I know that I am not the first person to come on here and ask for advice on this. And I wouldnt doubt if this entire post gets ignored. But I can tell you that I am willing to not only work my ass off for anyone willing to give me a chance, I am also willing to work under terms that make a potential backer feel comfortable especially in the beginning of a relationship. I can provide some solid references from circuit pros (well known) and also have a solid reputation in my home room (one of the oldest poker rooms outside of vegas at that). If anyone on here is willing to even remotely consider what I have written here, please let me know. Thanks!
