I am interested in being staked for $15-$60 regular speed STTs as well as $15 Spin-and-Go SNGs. I have been crushing the former this year, but Spin-and-Gos have cannibalized some of the traffic, and have acted as a fish magnet. I think the optimal play is to chase the fish wherever they go. Here are my results in the $15-$60 regular speed 6-9 mans from this year (the majority of the volume being $15 9 mans, $30 9 mans, and $15 6 mans):

I have played 1893 $15 Spin and Gos since they debuted. My win % is a very strong 36.6%; based off of chip EV my win rate "should" be 37.0%.



I need to be staked for personal reasons. I don't have the roll to withstand the brutal variance I will likely endure in the Spin and Gos. These games have taken a lot of **** on this forum due to the luck factor. However, based on my current win rate and using the Swong Sim simulator, if I play 60,000 games over the next year (which would be my goal and is definitely obtainable), the bottom 1% outcome pre-RB is $16665 profit; the median outcome is $45,600 profit, and the ceiling is in the 6 figures. My win rate may not stay quite this high, but I think it's clear that for now I have a substantial edge. Here is the simulation post-RB:

2486 games into the $15 Spin and Gos, and my EV win rate remains an elite (I think it's elite?) 37.1%. I've received several PMs, and had a few talks, but I remain a free agent. I would be very interested in being coached by an elite HU player so I can become one of the best players at the $30s.

Since Stars is increasing rake in Spin and Gos, I am going back to grinding 180s while mixing in some other games. 180 results since last year:

5,377 games, $2.1 avg profit, $9.28 avg stake, 20.3% ROI, $11,307 profit

Take the 3rs out since the rebuys are skewed, just take the $8s, $15s, and $35s and we get:

2,513 games, $2.22 avg profit, $9.08 avg stake, 20.8% ROI, $5,584 profit

your going to find it very hard getting a deal better then 50/50

1) spin and goes are crazy with variance, and your Expected value will be closer to like 10%...if your extremely good. Thats not even considering the fact that you will be playing multiple types of prizepools that will greatly dictate your earnings. I don't even know backers who want to stake for this game type.

2) for 180turbos that isn't the biggest sample size, not to take away from the fact that the results are good so far.

Im not trying to rain on your parade but 50/50 for a player of your history/record, even for guys who play much higher stakes with larger samples and higher winrates...is often 50/50

MrBubbleBoy I think it's a little absurd to say I shouldn't expect a deal better than 50/50. My results in the 180s have not been "good", they've been elite. While 5 K games isn't a massive sample, my results in the other formats have been very good as well, for around 16 K games.

I'd be interested to see these players who play "much higher stakes", with higher win rates ... I'm playing all the 180s now, stakes don't get higher in this format. Besides, a player looking to play higher stakes would be less likely to get a deal better than 50/50. It's precisely because my ABI is so low that I should expect more than half of my profits.

I do agree with your points about Spin and Gos, especially since they increased the rake. I will not be playing them any more, except possibly at the end of the year to clear a bonus.

But I decided to change to cash 6max and i've been crushing every level I reach, i'm on mid-highstakes now 600-5k earning 7bb ev.
I'm saying all of this, because other stackings I have (all of them spanish, i mostly on spanish forum) and I help them with some hands etc
