Hi, i'm BrTarolg
I partner with my friend James and we currently run a small staking stable, and are looking to take on a few extra horses.
Primarily, we are looking for micro (1-11 dollars) stakes with possibility to move into low mid (11-26) depending on results.
The players we are looking for are primarily MTTSNG players, with the option to diversify into occasional tournaments.
We are looking to stake both NLHE on fulltilt and O8 players on either site (yes thats right, we stake O8 also)
Both me and James have had alot of experience and sucess staking micro players and we are very good at strucuturing learning plans and progression so that you can maximise your profit with a combination of tournaments and SNG's
James is also a very experienced player himself, and offers very strong coaching. He has many contacts with high stakes players and discusses with them regularly, and is a king of mid/low stakes tournaments. As a horse we expect a strong foundation in MTTSNG play, but we will be able to help you learn and diversify for the higher stakes and/or tournaments during progression. This is a bonus for our horses, and only applicable for NLHE players
Horses we take on start on a 60/40 profit split, in our favour. Given results and progression, we will be able to modify this to 50/50 including move up in stakes. This is negotiable if you are a particularly strong player with good history
Profits will be split whenever appropriate depending on the limit of the stake, and will be discussed privately.
When in makeup, the deal will be 100/0 in our favour.
As stakers we particularly understand the toughness of makeup, and we see players who are capable of breaking through a bad swing 100x a player who cannont. When i first staked james, he would regularly swing 300-500 buyins. Whilst we do not expect you to swing as large as this, we will be there to support you in times of makeup - it is in our interest to do so!
Horses we are looking for typically have good previous results, have shown the ability to handle variance and swings, and show the ability to play large volumes. If you cannot fit these three categories, you either need a good application or should not apply.
If you are wondering what one of our typical horses looks like, here is an example
