Hello Backers,


I am a 21 year old who has been playing professionally since the beginning of 2010, though I started playing casually in 2008. I've played almost exclusively on FTP during that time and probably have less than 50k hands on all other sites combined (primarily Stars and PlayersOnly, another Merge skin). I play under the screenname RAW_FORCE on FTP.

I am seeking this stake due to the fact that I have a large % of my net worth frozen on FTP and do not want to put any of my reserve life roll at risk at this time.

My bread and butter has been 100nl full ring since the dawn before time but I have always enjoyed the occasional foray into higher stakes. Please note I am not some crazy degenerate; I have never played with money that would change my life if lost.

My results from 100nl-5knl full ring since 1/1/2010 (I have played 400k hands of Rush Poker which are NOT included here, mostly due to the fact that I performed abysmally and Rush is rigged. Of course the results are available upon request.)



Since there are not always enough full ring games running on the merge network I will ask any potential backers to allow me to play 6max games as well. I regularly start tables while playing full ring so I have a small amount of experience playing short-handed against both regs and fish. I will be game-selecting the 6max games on Carbon much harder than full ring since I am less proficient.

What am I looking for in a stake?

The poker climate is very uncertain and dynamic right now so I prefer the initial stake duration to be short. If things haven't changed then it's likely I will seek to continue under stake. The ideal terms for me would include:

• You have the option to terminate the stake at any time
• I have the option to terminate any time I am even or in profit
• I have the option to terminate when down if I make the stake whole out of my own pocket
• After 50k hands have passed if we're still together then I may end it regardless of results

I would like to play primarily 100nl and 200nl with the option to play 400 if a juicy game presents itself. I will use discretion and not play in a game if I feel the edge is not great enough to counter the increased bankroll risk. Regarding the starting stake amount... more is better for me but the minimum I would accept is $4000.

Pretty much everything is negotiable so don't let that keep you from contacting me if you are interested.

I have been staked by ZepHendrix and ********** briefly in the past. Both stakes were ended prematurely by me but resulted in profit for each of them. I can provide other references from the Small Stakes Full Ring community if necessary.

I think you are going to find it very hard to find a backer. Carbon could stop taking US-players any day.. no one is going to want to take that risk.

I've had a lot of dealings with RAW and talked a lot to him about poker, and I can say that he is a quality guy and a solid player.

I went to college with Raw and can absolutely vouch for his trustworthiness and quality of play. I have spent countless hours talking poker with him and this is definitely a hugely +EV opportunity for any potential backer. We have also made several trades in excess of $1,000 dollars and everything always went smoothly. Additionally, he originally staked me when I started playing two years ago at 25NL and through some of his guidance and much work on my own I am now (or was? ) a successful 100Rush and 200Rush grinder.

I talk with RAW on a regular basis and have bought pieces for him in live tournies...I also played with him daily on FTP. He is very solid and I vouch for him being a trustworthy guy.
