Hello all I am seeking a stake to play 50nl HU. I'm a student at the University of Delaware and I have been playing poker for about 3 years(live home games) and about 1.5 years online. Up until the last 6 months I have been playing micro(2nl/5nl/10nl and <5$ sit n gos), but over the last 6 months my online profit is somewhere in the 3k-4k range. Being a college student I really never have the ability to deposit big or keep a lot of cash online because I keep cashing out to pay for college. Im a frequent poster in the HUNL and occasionally in uNLFR/6max.

Im a solid winner of a decent HU sample size at nl50 and can put in a decent amount of hands seeing as I will be on Winter Break starting Dec20th and until Feb8th(stake would prob end earlier).

I staked op and am putting an account here of what happened, for anyone considering staking him in the future.

I did some checking into op before we started the stake and didn't find anything to give me concern. However, once we were underway, I learned a couple of things that would have given me pause, but he already had my money, so it was too late and all I could do was hope that I didn't get screwed.

I am happy to report, that I did not. Custer is an excellent player with a very high winrate and he faithfully transferred my share of the winnings as per our schedule.

The stake has ended early, as last night he dropped 10 buyins to one player--well beyond the stoploss of 2 buyins that I had given him. He e-mailed me immediately afterward with the hhs and admitted to tilting and said that he would repay some of the money. As I had let him bend the rules in the past, I told him that though according to our agreement he would have to repay the full 8 buyins, I only expected him to cover 5 buyins. I instructed him to transfer it to me and that our agreement was terminated, as I felt that I couldn't trust him anymore.

This morning I got up and logging into my account, saw that the 5 buyins had been shipped, as requested. I half expected there to be some arguing and delay to getting paid, but it was painless.

In summary, op made me a nice return on my investment and paid me back for his tilt. I couldn't ask for much more from a stakee and, as such, I wanted him to have public credit.
