Bit of background about myself:

Was a tourney player primarily for first few years of playing online. 12/180's and 4/180's really were my specialty, and would love to get a few guys playing those.

Recently made the switch to FR cash, and have moved from 25nl to 100 and 200nl in a few months.

What I'm looking for:

- High volume players (at least 30k hands a month for cash, ability to multitable well for both cash/tournies)

- Need to see some good results (opr, sharkscope,PT)

- 2p2'er for at least 3 months, w/ at least 1 reference here

- any other references from past stakes/deals is a +

- Must have PT/HUD, some sort of tracking software for cash

Ideally I'd like to have you be nearly rolled for what you are looking to be staked for, and I will provide staking/coaching to get you beating that limit and hopefully keep moving up.

Deal will start at 50/50 split w/ makeup, but I handle the money flow a bit differently from most staking arrangements. This will be talked about if I decide to take you on.

Send applications to 2plus2stakes@gmail.com

Stuff to send me:

1. Reason you are applying for stake (why do you need my $$)

2. What you are looking to be staked for (I will stake up to 100nl cash and 12/180's with some exceptions w/ good references or if I feel you can beat higher limits)

3. 2p2 reference/friend, previous backer... someone that can vouch for you, preferable someone known in this community or that I know

4. stats (pt, opr, sharkscope, whatever you think I need to see to convince me to stake you)

Ideally I'd like to take on 8-10 players... probably split between low stakes MTT'ers and 25-100nl cash'ers. Full ring players are preferred as that is what I can coach most effectively, but 6m players will be considered as well.

Don't bother applying if you don't have at least 1 reference from here, b/c I promise I will not take you on.

please PM me as well and tell me what addy you are emailing me from so I don't have to play a matching game.

And yes, as goshmr has so eloquently put it, I will also be accepting applications for 6m up to 100nl as well.

6m players will most likely be coached by him, and he is a very solid player at the 100 level.

Ok, I'm starting to take on a few players, but just wanted to give everyone who is applying a heads up.

The ideal person I'm looking for has to have somewhat of a starting bankroll to begin with, or have some references that I know pretty well, or know me from uFR or SSFR forums.

If I don't know you, and you don't have references that I know, I will not be giving you an entire starting bankroll to begin with.

I'm not saying don't apply if you don't have good references, but if you have neither references or any money of your own, then don't apply.

I realize that most people looking for staking are busto, but then again most people that are busto are just looking to make a quick buck, and therefore I must do this to protect myself.

Thanks to all that have applied, I have already taken on a few of you and definitely in process of taking on a few more. Please contact me if you have any questions about any of this, as I'll be happy explain anything.

- Daniel

I really think this is going to cost you a good chunk of money.

There's no reason anybody would need a stake for small stakes other than them either being bad at poker or mismanaging money. Those are the last people on earth you want to lend money to, not to mention they're all strangers and they're on the internet. People will happily stiff you or steal from you as long as they don't have to see your face while they're doing it.

The volatility here is massive and you stand to gain very little at best. This is a terrible investment. Good luck though.

gtfo and stfu... there are tons of reasons winning players need stakes.

st. kitts represent!

On topic: I am somewhat interested in a 100nl 6m stake, but not for the financial support. I have struggled making the transition to 100nl, and am more interested in the coaching freeroll that seems to be offered. :P I am sure i am a winning player there, but i believe it's marginal and am basically not comfortable with the swings.

I have no real 2+2 references and am not really a part of the online community at all, but I have playing 25-50nl full time for about 6 months and a couple of years part time before that. So the hand volume and winrate are certainly there.

Anyways, thanks. it'd be nice if we can work something out.

Thanks to everyone that's been applying, I have already taken on 3 players, and am in some final negotiations with a few more.

I don't check this thread very often so make sure to send apps to 2plus2stakes@gmail.com.

To whoever said small stakes players do not need stakes, I obviously disagree, as there are many players on this site that for one reason or another need a stake + the coaching that comes with it. I know as I have been staked for these limits myself many a time, and I would consider myself a decent player

I'm probably only going to end up taking about 3 or 4 more, but if you have sent me an email, I will get back to you sometime in the next week.

I've been a bit busy w/ finals and work, but I promise either mark or myself will reply to everyone's email and we can start negotiations from there.

hey everyone,

I'm back in town and will be going through the tons of emails I've gotten in the past week or so. I'll probably contact you sometime during the week if you've emailed me an app. and it looks good, and I'm willing to take on about 4-5 more people.
