3.) Bankroll Management: How do you handle your bankroll? I'm assuming you don't just leave it all in your poker stars account. Do you cash out a certain amount every X number of days? Or a certain percentage? What do you do with the excess?
4.) You mentioned starting your pro career with $1000 to your name. Can you elaborate on how you managed to make that work?
1. I deposited $100 or so a few times and lost it 4-5 times when I first started playing poker. I started at $5 sit and gos. Once I got the hang of the game I never deposited again. As a pro I have never come close to being busto. I have always played with a very conservative bankroll and have treated my game very much like a business.
2. No trouble there. I have excellent credit and really nothing to worry about.
3. When ever it gets to be more than I need I simply wire it to my bank acct. With the excess I usally just have a huge party and hire a bunch of hookers and tell them to bring tons of blow.....c'mon you don't believe that did ya?
4. I played .25.50 limit holdem and 8 tabled on a computer I put on my credit card. I played a new site every day. Basically whichever one had the besxt bonus offer that day I was playing at. It usually wasn't too hard to make a $150 bonus by the end of the day and hopefully a $100 or more at the tables. By the end of the month I made $7-8k and was on my way. It was pretty scary and I was dead broke. But it was either try and bonus whore it or get a job sweeping floors until I got a better job. I figured since I was already pretty much broke I may as well go for the glory.
