Can someone please break down the difference in the training sites? Can someone please break down the difference in the training sites?

DC, Leggo, CR, Stox, etc... what's the differences?

I'm currently a nl100 FR player looking to improve my game and *might* consider moving to 6-max since it seems there's many more videos for it and I've thought about it for some time now... so, what's the best training sites for a 6-max NL100 player and what's the best for a FR NL100 player?

What other differences are there?

Thanks for eliminating CR from my choices -- if it's the best and this is all you can support it with then I won't bother with that one. Any insight on the others?

Cardrunners is the best site for finding out exactly how 95% of the playerpool at micro and ssnl play. Watch and learn. Also they probably have the biggest archive so youll never run out of vids.

Deucescracked would be my choice for actually learning. Better teachers, better concept, interesting topics and teachers thats actually contributing on forums.

Subscribe to both, but if i would have to choose one, i would pick DeucesCracked.

Also Deucescracked and leggopoker both got a 7 day free trial. Not too sure if the other sites got the same but look around.

Full Ring 1DC 2CR

I think all the training sites have some kind of free trial period although I think CR has a crappy 1 day limit or something, maybe a CR rep can reply to that. Def take advantage of it and see which one you like the best. This thread seems like it should be in coaching advice forum.

CR has a 1day pass that is applicable towards a gold membership. We also have *almost* free option using fulltilt points in the FTP store, and We have a *completely* free option using trulyfreepokertraining.com.

I produce videos for stoxpoker but we are part of the CR company.

Merry Christmas to you then, because Daut and Eric Liu have dual commentary 2-4 FR nlhe video coming out tomorrow. There's more full ring stuff in production right now, too.

Im a member to all 4 (stox,CR,leggo,DC) and I haven't even downloaded a stox video so I can't comment there but:

Leggo: worth it JUST for Aejones, great 6max videos, really really sick.

CR: Amazing content all around, CTS/Raptor videos are sick and you learn a great deal, and of course nothing beats a solid Brian Townsend video, teaches solid poker and gets you in the mood to grind.

DC: I feel is slightly ahead latley, not saying CR is downhill but their top boys make videos on the regs, gotta love Krantz, FwF, Whitelime, Dogishead videos, love the professor plotkin series.

I'd recomend CR first to form a solid poker knowledge and a great view of 6max games, then DC to further your learning at higher levels (ofc CR has great content for high stakes but I feel its lacking slightly as of late)

Everything I hear is about 6-max... do none of these sites offer more than a video or two of small stakes FR?

I am currently a member of STOX poker, Stox is mostly oriented on Cash games , there is some nice MTT videos and SNG's videos as well (mostly high and med limits),but not as many as Cash games videos, if you play cash games (any limits) or High to Med limits SNGs and MTTs then Stox I guess would be good for you. If you mostly play under $10 SNGs and MTTs you should look somewhere else...

I find this thread interesting as I was also about to sign up for a training site today.

From what I was told on my previous inquiry, if you play FR NLHE cash games, then CR is a superior site. If you play cash 6 man, then duces cracked, and if you play a lot of tourney then stock is superior.

Now keep in mind, this is merely me relaying what I was told when I asked about it a few months ago. I will also watch this thread for another day or so before I sign up for a site.

I am a FR NLHE low/mid stakes cash player, so I would ideally like to look at a site geared towards that.

Well if you play lots of turneys stox is not that grate for you, MTT videos are grate but there is may be around 40 of them VS 700 cash games videos... approximately 6% of all videos ((((
But in your case Stox would be good for you since you play only cash games.

Little correction: there is about 70 MTT videos... approximately 10%

I'm on the verge of registering with a training site but I'm trying to determine which one. I lean towards Cardrunners due to their large library and the fact that I can spend some of my FTP points to register.

I play 200NL 6 max exclusively. Is there any significant reason to go with Stox or someone else as opposed to Cardrunners?

I'm not sure what this means or if it's really english, but there's lots of people out there (as can be seen in this thread) that want more information on the training sites so they can correctly pick the one that is best for them. Many of these threads are ignored or filled with posts similar to yours... useless babble.
