There’s a whole lot of people who are a slave to a clock. They have very precise work hours 6-7 days a week and then a schedule for their scant free time. Everyone deserves to have the feeling of endless possibilities and no time limits at some point in their life. I think they’re are many who can’t even process that level of freedom. spend 3 days or 4 days or 5 days, who cares no one’s counting randomly hanging out at orgies in norfolk, then go back to a beach house where people are just chilling and have no idea what day it is but your breakfast at pocahontas pancakes and your dinner at a 4 star out of 5 star restaurant will be totally paid for by people who wish they could no you just a bit better. That’s real freedom.

as i dayrdreamed as a young gentleman, i thought "when i'm partying for days or just lampin around the house for weeks on end, i'll need a way to track the days and months, almost as much, maybe more than i need the hours and minutes. especially if a pandemic hits and all the critical infrastructure, electricity and soforth, is knocked out or inconsistent". that's when the winding capacity of mechanical watch really comes into play
