My old spout is about 2.5 in high. This one is 2.8 in. Is that ok, I just might have to remove the caulk and recaulk it which I should probably do anyway?

The pipe extends 2 3/4 in from the wall and there is 1 1/2" of bare nipple without any of the plastic stuff on it. Is that a standard length? It looks longer on the installation picture for the new one.

I guess I could always just bring the old one in to a hardware store and get them to tell me what I need to replace it. But then I'd have to leave my house and interact with someone so I probably won't bother
