Freo have been in the league for 26 years and have zero premierships and not much to show for being in the league. Every year Freo supporters think they'll do great things, only to be disappointed.

It's also unfortunately that they are the cross town rivals of the West Coast Eagles (my team)who came into the league 34 years ago and have 5 premierships in that time, and overall are successful year to year.

It's like a big brother/little brother thing.

I actually like Freo though. My Dad is a Freo fan and I really want him to enjoy them winning a Premiership before he dies.

But Freo fans generally hate the Eagles with a passion (like Luke does). I think it's a jealousy thing (sorry Luke. I still love you).

Freo sounds like the LoLions - only LoLions fans never think they'll do great.
