before you wear them really pound em up a bit, especially the heel - just push in in and out repeatedly like you're breaking in a baseball glove
and like with all leather shoes bring a second pair of proven shoes with you the first few times you wear them because you may need to sub into something else to prevent blisters
but... it's worth it, once it's adapted and basically molded to your feet you'll have something super comfortable, you're able to just slip them on like slippers yet they stay on well enough that you can be active and even run with them (although obviously not ideal)
and a good pair will last you over a decade and never go out of style because they're literally the same style they were back in the 30s when they first came on the market
seriously, give em a shot, they are all quite inexpensive too so it's less than an eth gas fee when you buy or sell one of your gifs that make the money to support your shoe habit
most comfortable i ever wore was a pair of bass boat shoes that i wore from the 90s until finally retiring as they gave out on me in germany in 2016, but it seems they don't make them anymore
sperry's is the og brand but really it's hard to go wrong with any pair/brand
first of all: thank you for the reply and the advice.
secondly, i think it's funny that you assume i know how to break in a baseball glove when i obviously don't even know how to wear shoes
