I'll get you a picture, but basically I'm putting a utility sink(U/S) and a Washer drain(W/D) about 13 ft away from the current stack. I was planning to have 1.5" horizontal run from the U/S to a 1.5x2 that ties into the W/D. Do I need to vent them separately, do I need to connect the vent to the current vent stack. Can I make a local vent, or two, work?

I also thought I could stack vent the 1.5, with a Sani t, then 90 to 1.5x2, then stack vent the W/D and tie those two vents together.... but then I'd have to drop a bunch of holes in the faux 2x6 half wall I built.

The sizing is correct. And you can vent it back to the stack. That would be like a loop vent. Or 'air admittance valves' might work

Maybe check the functionality before doing any venting. Or oversize the line to 3 inch, and it'll act as a combination waste and vent

U can travel 3 inch through a 2x6

The main line... the standpipe for the washing machine can reduce to 2 inch, and same for the laundry sink to 1.5 inch

Heres the setup, those two vents are my problem, I don't wasn't to drill two holes through every stud in this wall which is a total of 7 from here to the end... I'll need to keep the 2" with a .25"/1' slope once they tie together
01-22-2021 , 07:43 PM
correct. 1/4" of fall for every foot of length
01-22-2021 , 08:42 PM
I have history of travelling a 3 inch through many things.
01-22-2021 , 08:42 PM
Wait...
01-22-2021 , 09:03 PM
3.5"
01-22-2021 , 09:04 PM
This is the final concept, the 1.5 vent travels sloped upward towards the vent pipe and will tie in with a Sani t, the drain line slopes towards the tie in with a Sani t, the vent pipe is going above the wall cause **** cutting all those holes
01-22-2021 , 09:33 PM
looks great.

:sun: thank God I've been debating how to do it for a couple weeks, had other projects to distract me but almost out of them now
