because eth is great, eth is the main currency of the network. but on that network are tons of altcoins like the meme dog coins that have their own economies. and a lot are too small right now to be listed on a major exchange like coinbase, so you go through these web3 erc20 defi swaps which is so easy but it's new so it'll be weird the first time
bitcoin and ethereum are the two largest "blockchains" which you can think of like networks. there are lots of altcoins based on the ethereum blockchain/network like shib which you may have heard recently flipped dogecoin. crypto.com, i haven't used personally but it sounds like an exchange like coinbase, like a way for people to swap legit USD from their bank accounts for crypto, then you can hold or withdraw to an outside account

Braves win!
Game 3 belongs to Atlanta. They take a 2 - 1 lead over the Astros, in this best of 7 series.

well i use it as a currency to buy art and play bovada but ya you can just let it sit like another investment. the idea is in the future more people/places will accept it as currency and a store of value. holding eth is investing in the network, basically. and i think it's the best one of the cryptos
