I think it’s mostly just streamers from different genres doing a “collab” to try and grow their audience.

One of the WPTs had a free roll for (women?) streamers with maybe the winner getting free entry into the full tourny. The streamers got coaching from some big names like Dan Smith. Poker should do more of that like chess does with POG Champs. Getting the really big streamers to stream poker probably the best way to get new people playing poker. Doug Polk had Alex on his podcast

**** going to the gym. Last time I went there was some fat guy who put his phone and water on equipment. He wasn't doing that to hold his spot on the equipment. No, he just wanted his precious phone and water on equipment instead of the ground. He put his stuff on a bench and then on one of the iso machines. Ugh **** fat people. And of course being a fat person he did only arm lifts.

And some dude was done with deadlifts. I asked if he was done he said yes, I go to help him take the remaining weights off and the dude just leaves the weight on and walks off. What the hell.

And of course there's the guy doing super gay stretches. I go late to avoid this nonsense, but apparently everyone else does now because funemployment.

yeah they probably only get attention because they're attractive. Andrea is kind of amusing though. She's got a weird accent.

They both competed as juniors but don't play competitively anymore. Alex was US girls 18 and under champ and she was one of the first chess streamers before it was cool. She's a FIDE women's international master which is the second lowest international title. She's probably a top 200 women's player in the world and maybe top 12,000 overall.
