Here’s me, somewhat hopeful about the prospects of perhaps being able to afford a 1 bedroom apartment..

Living in a yuuge country with lots of space has its benefits.
02-04-2021 , 02:04 PM
it's weird cause the more space around your house, the cheaper and bigger you can build it. but if there's like almost no space around your house, it's mega expensive. and if there's so little space that the space is all gone and they have to start building up into the sky, it's even more expensive than that!

caves used to be 0$ but folks got greedy

lol does your neighbor have a don't tread on me flag in his backyard?

and no garage?
02-04-2021 , 02:14 PM
a garage is a house for your car, dazzle. we all have one in america. well, most of us do.
02-04-2021 , 02:46 PM
Correct no garage and no driveway lol but we'll see. Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.

Gonna compare and contrast the urban and more rural/ suburban, but stupid is stupid
02-04-2021 , 02:54 PM
Might get a carport
02-04-2021 , 02:55 PM
My ideal home would be a garage downstairs and an apartment upstairs. My dreams are small, but still unlikely.
02-04-2021 , 03:14 PM
You can do it!
02-04-2021 , 05:33 PM
Like the house, and it seems there's a lot of small improvements i.e. garage and driveway addition that would add serious value

Korea sounds cool. Were you in a big city?[/QUOTE]

Twas. I had fun, taught English to wee children. I lived about a half hour subway ride from the hopping neighborhoods of Seoul so yeah. Korea is wildly condensed. Only remotely comparable city in US is manhattan, and it’s a lot more crowded than Manhattan.

I got a good job offer to do something I like, and I was also having a quarter life crisis.

The fried chicken was excellent, as was a lot of other food I tried there.
