If I'm totally honest though, if I had a billion dollars I'd probably end up a shut in. but you can order pretty much anything online these days, so it probably wouldn't be so bad.

There's some pretty good YouTube clips where they remove the laughtrack and everyone literally sounds like psychopaths

That's is completely untrue. For example, there are three gay people living in my building, and there's only 7 people here. Should be more like "surrounded by gays in the village"
