I've been consistently running 5-8k three times a week, I'm a slow runner.

We have an online team meeting every day, which means there's more social interaction than before

#yogblog

Ran 17.75 miles down around The National Mall and Tidal Basin on Saturday. Looked like The Handmaid's Tale out there with National Guard keeping people out of the areas where they'd usually congregate to look at the cherry tree blossoms. Every couple hundred yards was a group of ~ 4 service members with automatic weapons

Managed to get a couple good pics doe.

The first step is hating yourself. The second step is running 18 miles.

I need to get my brakes fixed, but in this new future where money is uncertain, and time is almost limitless, I'm thinking I might attempt it myself. Anybody know on a scale of 1-10 how hard it is? I'm not much of a car guy.. I've watched a few youtunes about it, and they make it look easy, but then all the comments are about how **** of a job the person did, so it's a little disheartening.

Disk brakes are pretty easy with the correct tools [IMPORTANT CAVEAT]

Drum brakes are a little bit more difficult but still doable with the correct tools [IMPORTANT CAVEAT!]

taking you up on your generous offer

Out of all the things to try and fix on a car I think fixing brakes should be left to the experts.

Dabble, you need a jack!

What's the worst that could happen, not like your island has any cliffs.

In my non mechanical opinion, I'm almost certain I just need new pads.

I mean, I went to a garage, it was closed down because of covid. I called a mobile mechanic, he was self isolating, so my hands are tied, gotta attempt it myself!

You got weeks to fix it before you'll need it again
03-30-2020 , 01:06 PM
I'm still allowed to work, just less, and I don't fancy doing that 15km next time, so I will need it fairly soon.

Oh, btw, not to brag but Kristy emailed me the other day. Yeah, I'm cool.
