One of the main questions I get when people learn I don't have a car has been --- how do you get groceries? Well, it's pretty simple I walk down to the store and I buy them.

Recently I got my car out of storage and brought it to DC because I thought it would be nice to have to get out into nature a little during the fall/winter with COVID still going strong. Well, today I took it to go shopping and let me tell you folks. Shopping for groceries with a car sucks at least as much ass as without. ****in' traffic and parking and all the bullshit. Gonna go back to walking imo ...

i wanted to get an equitorial mount and like a really big scope to take photos of other galaxies and ****, but i can't use it here because of light pollution. a lot of people drive up north for nature stuff and stargazing and it's ultra dark up there but it's like 5 hours of driving and like, i can find photos of other galaxies on tumblr and whatnot
