GW and I have been talking about taking an IQ test for years, to put the question of "who is smarter" to rest.

It's probably smart that we haven't followed through. Neither of our egos could bear to lose, imo.

I wouldn't count an iq test as a measure of who is smarter.

Daisy and I are smart in our own different ways. She's book smart, into news/politics, current affairs. I'm tech smart and know useless trivia and into movies/music/games.

So: in short, we're completely opposite of each other, but I wouldn't say one of us is smarter than the other.

But really: it's problem solving and how fast you can figure things out. That is obviously one side of being smart. Just because you're slower at solving A problem than someone doesn't make you dumber than said person.

I guess you'd have to assume they're of equal value for that to work, but one helps create life, the other helps sustain life, and they're both fun to play with, so I'd say they're about equal.
