Nothing in my life has ever made me hate society more than their views on Autism.

My child is not intellectually disabled, in fact she's likely smarter than your similarly aged child. She recognizes all letters and numbers, and has done so since 2.

I am not hoping she "may catch up"--she is perfect the way she is.

It isn't the fault of her perfect vaccination schedule.

It isn't some deficit in our parenting skills

And it isn't something we asked for, just something we crush. Every. Single. Day.
We face the constant and unyielding fear of a child who doesn't know her name, loves water and traffic, and will take off the second you blink. We live with alarms on all doors, gates, therapy, and a million other fears you don't even know you should be glad you get to supplant with superpets and a fear that your kid isn't eating enough vegetables for what I go through each day.

**** you all, so hard. You ****ing whiners. I can't begin to imagine what I'd give up to hear "mama". At any time, I dont care if it is 3:30am, and you have to work in the morning.
