But nah.

The backlash against the term, "feminism" is uneducated. Like most American "issues".

However, if you want to talk "Women's issues" which is what you really mean when you describe "feminazis", "feminuts", then I will point out that it is insane to suggest that weird outliers represent the crux of the challenges the average Western woman will face in her lifetime.

Poverty, minimum wage, healthcare, career vs. Motherhood, gender roles, etc are issues that disproportionately, negatively affect women. So these are fair conversations in a, "women's issue" context....

Whatever senstionalized crazy **** your preferred media outlet is shoving into your gullet, so you can have the self-satisfying feeling of "feeling better than," this week is of no interest to me.

Warm, crotch-originated, regards

Should a cleaner be paid the same as a doctor, probably not. Should we give men and women equal opportunities to be cleaners or doctors, absolutely.

I think when it comes to things like the sciences, and other subjects that lead to higher paying jobs, women, for whatever reason, are steered away from it.

I'd add that traditionally female jobs are rarely paid appropriately.
Example, the personal support workers at the assisted living place my mother works at are responsible for diaper changes, baths, lifts in to wheelchairs, lifts to toilet, lifts to bed, lifts to tub, all "accidents on floors, in clothing, etc"
They have 1 year of college training.
They are paid 17-21/hr

The highschool educated maintenance man who changes lightbulbs and mows the lawn makes $24/hr

Teachers are another great example. 6 years post secondary, a lifetime forcing a mob of ****ty kids to learn, and they start at 38k/year here?!?!

I meant to add: further, my Mom is a nurse and as soon as they began approaching reasonable pay for their job we started shifting their responsibilities to the RPN (LPN) designation and then downsizing the pool of nurses within facilities. So traditionally female roles in medicine continue to be underpaid.

Here a while back Bell was ordered to retroactively pay telephone operators the same that telephone linemen had been paid, which led to a lot of mra complaints about how, of course male and female operators should receive equal pay, and male and female linemen should receive equal pay, but operators and lineman are two completely different jobs so how can you say they have to be paid equally.

I would agree with everything just posted. Good show gang

My issue with MRAs is that, typically they make a point like this and then actually refuse to have any form of rational conversation about it afterward.
On the surface what they are saying appears logical, and I don't have a VERY strong opinion on the subject, but I could certainly pose ideas that attack that stance that the two jobs are so disparate that equal pay is absurd. This is not as clear as it may seem to be.

...unfortunately the moment I did, the MRA would usually call me a "****", a "feminazi", or just ignore my rebuttal entirely. The over/under on number of posts before he mentions child custody, like some sort of trump card, is 3

I'm getting drunk now, y'all can come outta hiding.

drunk-mind amazing hmmmm <3

My bro told this great story, dunno if I can do it justice, but here goes.

He's working at this massive warehouse, and a bunch of cats tool around on these double pallet-jacks, stacking boxes of various product, filling orders to be taken to docks and then trucked to grocery stores.

Anyway, he's in a particular aisle, and a recent hire pulls up behind him. The aisle width can ordinarily accommodate 2 jacks, but there was a full pallet in this aisle at the time waiting to be fork-lifted onto a truck.

My bro pulls his jack up, to allow this guy room to slalom by, and he just demolishes the stationary pallet lol My bro jokingly says, "Just keep going!" And the dude looks at him incredulous for a second, then tears outta there, only to dump his own load, taking too sharp a turn into the next aisle. lmao
