They went in and did an ultrasound and confirmed the gallbladder is packed with a bunch of stones but I've been balking at surgery also. The main risk is that my gallbladder becomes gangrenous.

They're normally ok. But sometimes I get flareups typically when I'm losing weight paired with a day of high fat consumption. I had no idea each of those chili dogs would have 26g of fat

I would have the surgery but:

1. Removing stuff that nature thought I'd dig, seems off.
2. Lily is still in a crib, and you can't lift any weight for a while after the surgery.

Yeah, that's what they say. Then it ruptures on Christmas eve and you have to have emergency surgery (and with the contents now sloshing around inside you, its not the tidy procedure it could have been).
I thought I had a broken rib.
And mutant had to have the emergency treatment, too.
Remember how yellow he was?

Not a single symptom till it burst. Then, it felt like a broken rib. Babied it for a day. Then I turned yellow and was sick as s#!t. They did a scan and I was signing papers for the surgery on the way to the OR. Christmas eve, 2003. Drove myself home on Christmas.
