Ama about GW not properly closing the main bathroom door, my toddler getting in and smearing ALL the things with zinc-oxide including herself, my bed, pillows, duvet, the floors, the walls.

Le sigh
10-08-2015 , 11:20 AM
where did the kid get the zinc-oxide from?
10-08-2015 , 11:21 AM
Is it the most toxic thing in the world?
10-08-2015 , 11:22 AM
How does leaving the bathroom door open enable the kid to get to your bed? do you sleep in the bathroom?
10-08-2015 , 11:23 AM
Is it removable?
10-08-2015 , 11:24 AM
Do you think you need to take parental actions to avoid this kind of behavior in the future? If yes, what kind of actions?
10-08-2015 , 11:49 AM

Her diaper drawer. It is diaper cream.

Waiting on a call back from her Doctor, but Google says it is ok unless she starts vomiting.

It enabled her to get to the cream, the bed was just where she went next. With a stop for some finger-painting with it on the floor, doors, and walls.

Sort of, with lots and lots of soap and scrubbing.

I wish we had words for this, but Lily does not. The parenting action will likely have to be an alarm on the bathroom door, because much as I'd like to say my bathroom is childproof, it clearly is not childproofed enough to save me from a day of scrubbing.

Also, ama about having another stupid migraine...'cause the scrubbing is gonna be soooo much more fun now that I'm blind in one eye again.

Worst. Day. Ever.
