I don't like people that neglect animals but yeah there might be a psychological explanation for every crime so whatever. But the hate comes before thinking about it

Got pretty ****ed up yesterday, didn't die imo.

Also on taxes, I just got done watching two documentaries about poor people while sitting in a 10k$ airplane seat. So I feel I'm qualified to talk about income disparity. It seems to me poor people make bad decisions, not always but a lot of the time. If you spend money on first world amenities while complaining that you can't have a "living wage" at the minimum, then you are likely not managing the income you have correctly.

So, I've given this some thought, and I've deiceded that for the show to progress, Will Graham is probably going to die this episode. Then we will meet Clarissa Sterling during the final scenes.

It doesn't matter since there won't be a season 4, but that's what I recon.

I thought you were finally going to come out. I understand that you're not ready yet

$7.25/hr*40hrs/wk*50wks/yr=$14500/yr

I don't care if you're the damn Einstein of personal finance, that is not enough money to live without government subsidy.

Not an opinion, irrefutable fact.

Even in the Walmart example, where they claim to pay $9, you end up at $18000. That remains a non-independent, non-living wage from a company that returned 7.2 billion to their shareholders in 2014.

Get them off food stamps, and social progams, imo. As taxpayers, we should not tolerate this sort of business model.

Irrefutable fact, heh ok. If you don't like their business model then don't support them by using their services. I am just against that kind of govt regulation in general, I understand it already exists but that doesn't mean it's good. I realize I'm speaking from a pretty high perch and likely don't understand the troubles of people living below the poverty line. But I can tell you from a background in agriculture that working 40 hrs per week is laughable, and doing it in a manner that requires 0 skill sets should not be rewarded with a plush first world living style that includes Internet, cable, cell phones, vehicles.

I mean what are you doing with the other 70 hrs of your week that your awake? Sitting at home masturbating?

Still not responding to the theft of companies like Walmart from the American tax payer, in the form of subsidies, while they hand out huge dividends.

Respectfully, you're looking slightly down when you should be looking break-your-neck up.

And I don't shop at Walmart, but I also don't endlessly research every product I buy.

I won't spoil it for J and Mkay

Corporate tax structure is a fickle beast. Returning 2.7 billion to share holders isn't that much if hey have 100's of billions invested.

I'd love to get involved in this, but my Rachel is on the telly. Perhaps after

I'm about to take off so if you have clever posts in the next 75 mins I'm not ignoring them.

I grew up in the country too. However, I think it is a little silly to site reasonable productivity as cause for concern in th e US...

Americans work more hours than any other western country

A 40 hour work week IS expecting more out of wage earners by relevant comparison. Further, I never suggested that minimum wage should be sufficient for anything other than a modest rental, transportation, food security, healthcare, internet, homephone, and humble savings (alternate use childcare, retirement savings, or luxuries like cellphones/cable).

I'm not suggesting home ownership, new cars, new cell phones for all. Just the possibility of a subsidy-free existence for all full-time workers.

Other topic, GW is trying to talk me into attending a kegger tonight. Not sure if want.

At friends house in the country, so one of us would have to stay sober to drive home.
