Most people, in their discomfort or fear of saying the "wrong" thing, choose to say nothing.
That gets lonely. I want to brag about her successes or complain about the stressors-- like any other parent--but people are so uncomfortable that discussing it becomes a weird burden that I can't fairly place on people.
