I decided tonight reading the Bond thread about getting better with girls that I'm a loser in the truest sense. I've never really had trouble getting girls, banged plenty some long term g/f's. I've never been a loser in poker, I've won at all the stakes/games I've ever played. Academically I've always done fine, great grades in classes I've actually attended. Job wise, I've been offered every position I've ever interviewed for, never been fired or laid off.

The reason why I'm a loser is because I never put serious effort into getting better at anything. That's why I date average girls, never played higher than 100NL, failed out of the first university I went to while attending ~20% of the courses, and had to quit my last ****ty auditing job because it was crushing my soul.

So, Alpha? I think not. But hey maybe it's not too late to change ...

I think you mayhaps have missed my point, prolly my fault. It's precisely because I'm content with being average and not pushing myself to get better at anything is exactly what makes me a loser. I mean reading that thread I half feel bad for some of the socially awkward nitwits who really need a book about PUA to help them with women. But there's plenty [and I think Bond falls into this category] who are just trying to use it as a tool for introspection and they're actively working to improve their skillset. While, me I'm just too lazy and can't be bothered, what you maybe call "content"... which makes me in a sense worse than the most pathetic PUA.
