The protection of me and my family is MY responsibility. The police arrive in time to take control of the cleanup and collect evidence. Protection of our propety is out responsibility. Providing protection in the home is a priority. Defending myself and the family and friends while out in the city is also our responsibility. The numbers of dip****s out there, too lazy to work and support themselves/buy the things they try to steal from us regular citizens is high and it's climbing. The number of home invasions happening every day is ridiculous. And I'm too old, to slow, to weak to take on a couple of knuckleheads who feel my phone or my truck or my daughter really should belong to them.
I'm licensed. I'm proficient. I'm packing . If you're scared, or comfortable with how strangers will protect you or think that violence can't happen to you...that's fine with me and I wish you good luck.
Gun control doesn't disarm criminals, it hamstrings the law abiding. Getting rid of guns only takes them from the citizens already following the law.
Look at your crime rate now versus before you turned in your weapons.
