Well that's the point, you wouldn't live in a **** pit, because I'd assume you would keep your room "nice" and you'd forget the rest of the house. If you're working full time and have anything even close to a life, then it's easily done. I should know, I did it for years.

For sure it's super annoying, but you really need to accept that there is **** all you can do about it. It ain't your house, so if you're not happy with the filth, you can clean it yourself, or ignore it.

You're on the old zero hours contract I see. Nice. Better get used to living at home.

Daz, which translator did you use to figure out what "the second week in and my hours a **** cos it's quite..." means?

First we get all these sexual assault stuff, and now I hear they've done a remake of Jumanji. I think it's time to burn Hollywood to the ground.

God damnit Henry Weinstein is doing a Jumanji remake?!

The Rock, though

Has anyone ever had their package lost by the USPS? I’m so mad right now.
12-05-2017 , 05:32 PM
Pics of package?

You’ll be the first one I pm. These were cyber Monday deals!

My boss apparently has toilet paper delivered to her house every month. Someone stole her monthly toilet paper delivery. Caught on security camera.

People be stealing packages.

It was left in a parcel locker, but there was no key in my mailbox. I’ve been checking my mailbox twice a day since then.

Re-post from last week.

Here's my Amazon TLDR:

Monday: Delivery attempted but not left because they required a signature
-Talk to carrier (Purolator, a Canadian courier company) and ask why they need a signature as this has never happened before. They tell me Amazon is requiring the signature (order is ~$80; Amazon only requires signature on orders > $1,300)
-Talk to Amazon support and he says they don't require signature, says he's talked to carrier and they will redeliver tomorrow, no signature required.

Tuesday: Delivery attempted but not left because they required a signature
-Talk to carrier and ask why they need a signature as Amazon assured me they do not require a signature. Carrier says, sorry, nothing they can do, Amazon is requiring a signature.
-Talk to Amazon support supervisor and he says they don't require signature, says he's talked to carrier and they will redeliver tomorrow, no signature required.

Wednesday: Carrier calls to say warehouse manager refused to put the package on the truck. They will not redeliver.
-Talk to Amazon support team leader and he says they don't require signature, says he's talked to carrier and they will redeliver tomorrow, no signature required.
-Email jeff@amazon.com and get a response from Amazon.com's Executive Customer Relations answering on behalf of Jeff. She tells me she has talked to the carrier and they will deliver tomorrow, no signature required.

Thursday: Delivery attempted but not left because they required a signature

At this point I’m more amused than annoyed. I’m wondering whether Amazon will be able to get the carrier to actually deliver this. Seems like it should be an easy win for Amazon since carrier probably goes out of business without Amazon so they should do whatever Amazon tells them, but they seem to be holding strong.

Update:

I did reach out to PUROLATOR again today in an effort to determine why the promise made to me on yesterday was not kept. Needless to say, I was not able to obtain an acceptable answer nor resolution.
Ain't never getting that package.

Yesterday I got a different package that was expected delivery Nov 27. Now I'm waiting on a package with expected delivery yesterday, that tracking says will arrive yesterday, and that tracking also says I should look for in the next day or two.

Wow, you put a lot of energy into that one.

i've ordered probably hundreds of items from amazon and i've never had one lost in the mail

But at least in the end I didn't get my package.

And you haven't burnt the delivery companies warehouse to the ground? Teach me your zen.

Yes, at least you didn’t get that.

The post office left a voicemail for me saying they checked everyday for the package and couldn’t find it. When I tried to call back, it just rang and never went to voicemail.

That's a good one. Here's they'll make an automated call that plays as soon as the outgoing message on my voicemail starts, so that by the time voicemail starts recording, I miss the part where they tell me anything.

Some day Amazon will be big enough that they'll figure out how to deliver packages successfully.

It's amazing how inept the human race still is lol Everything is a ****ing ordeal, despite all the advertising to the contrary.. this gadget will provide simplicity, that will do something with efficiency .. If something transacts smoothly, that's the aberration
