Seems like a slightly harsh reaction for just being too stupid to not assign her pupils an assignment on the second last day that would have no impact on grading.

I don't understand what they're supposed to be leaking that ruins underwear? Amniotic fluid is like 24 hrs before they induce labour..and it washes out.

The little **** did fine right up until the point she lied. Imo it shows she was scared of being punished for something that is completely logical. So ask yourself, "Do I often punish my child for doing logical things that I disagree with". If the answer is yes, then she had a reason to be scared. Now is lieing the right reaction for fear, nope. So take her some place scary and ask her a bunch of hard questions until you earn her trust back.

Gosh parenting is simple omg omg omg 160

I actually agree with this.
Feels bad, man.

Raising competent adults is the goal, right? In your shoes I think I talk to her about lying, make sure she understands the assigned material, and then wonder why she didn't feel comfortable talking to me about the assignment in the first place.

Imho/ymmv a 15 year old girl needs a safe space to talk more than a disciplinarian. You've got safe sex, body image, drugs, drinking, etc on the immediate agenda

...if she can't even come to Mom and Dad over frivolous bio assignment...you've got a problem.

If you don't believe that bio is life I've got a bridge to cell you.

Speaking of biology. I'm back on iron as of yesterday. People who maintain a normal Hgb range from food are wizards.

Vitamin D too.

I'm #16 in the holding pool for the Duluth campus.

They are at #16 in the line for offers.

Looks like I'll be disappearing for a while in August :\

My dog has diarrhea. I took him out twice last night then he still pooped on the floor this morning.

If this is what having a human baby is like I'm gonna take a hard pass.
