The guy who hired me, and is the nephew of the owner of our company just resigned. He did not like me and I believe wanted to let me go after my first couple of months. Apparently he was a bit of a social outcast, and he didn't have many friendly relationships. I'm not sure what kind of political bs went on in the background, but wouldn't giving up 200k a year working for family have to be something taken pretty goddamned serious?
