I had a memory foam mattress, they're nice, but expensive. Now I just have a dirt cheap mattress, then a memory foam topper. Imo it's more than good enough. I sleep like I'm dead.

It does hold heat in a way. It gets softer in areas that are warmer, probably because of science. So areas do get soft and stay soft for a bit, but it doesn't trap heat like a sleeping bag would.

It has bounce but you'll work hard to find a bouncing rhythm compared to a spring mattress

The one I was looking at has a gel layer that is supposed to disperse heat and solve the first problem.

Also, I'm currently having less sex than Lucky Luke...so number 2 isn't a huge concern.
