Emme and I were both wearing GW's shirts. Ms. Blue was 4 hours behind us in drinking and declined to wear his third one.

Also, I can't sleep so I'm gonna tell both people who bother to read tl; dr posts about the weird thing that happened to me today.

Lily and I have been alone in this house since last Tuesday.

I went to take a bath today and there wasn't enough hot water. This didn't make sense because I hadn't used any hot water for a couple hours. I went down to my basement thinking maybe my new hot water heater had died or blown a fuse or something...

When I got down to the basement the hot water tap in the bathroom was running full blast.

Note: the basement was built for giants, the sink is uncomfortably high for even me to use. Lily cannot reach it, even if she somehow snuck down there..

But she didn't, and when I went to shut it off, I couldn't.

I tried as hard as I could. Got a glove and tried even harder. It took me like 20 minutes and two wrenches to get it turned off.

Then I went to refill the bunny's water at the laundry sink, and it too was on. A slow, steady, stream of hot water.

Again, Lily doesn't go down there, but if she did, the tap is blocked off by the dehumidifier I have atop the sink. It can't be reached. It too was difficult to shut off, but it didn't require a wrench, just brute strength.

Learned Kristy claims she has brute strength, and doesn't have supply valves for her sink?

I do have supply valves, but they wouldn't budge.

Not so brutish, brute strength, but I definitely win in comparison to a 4 year old.

We installed the tub faucet yesterday, and turned it on. Sink faucet =/= tub filler, so at 1.2 gpm it filled too slow. Now searching the inter webs for a single hole deck mount tub filler... no acceptable results yet. Glass door should be here this week
