Actually, I originally bought the seed to bring up for presents for Lily's teachers and therapists next year, but then I realized that they are poorly named for that.

Why newspaper over peat pellets?

Newspaper instead of peat pellets. Two kinds of basil (sweet & Thai), cilantro, oregano, bell pepper (those ****ers never do anything but one year I'll find a place they produce), eggplant, zucchini. Haven't found any butternut squash seeds this year. Maybe it's extinct. Should have just saved some seeds.

Ah.
They are pretty. I thought you might have mommed the **** out of them and figured out a way to eat them.

Damn. They broke the interstate.
Big ol piece of I-85 fell. That's gonna take a minute or two to un****.

Our interstate is ok I think, even if 3 trucks rolled over on it this afternoon.

Have you grown the Thai basil before? I planted the "Siam" variety for the first time this year, and Genovese...'cause I have a basil pesto problem.

My impossible seed this year is the spiny variety of zucchini. I've been to a dozen stores and I can't find it anywhere.

In order to get tiny bell peppers here, I started seed in January, and then planted in a wind sheltered spot that was full south and has sun from morning to night..not worth it. Just buy a crate when they're on sale and freeze them.

If it helps, I would have mommed the **** out them.

I was gonna tie pretty ribbon around the containers and put a little handmade card that had some form of "I grew a little something special to say thanks for the big part you play in growing my little someone special"

I still may, if I don't like Thai basil.

A 50' length of 6 lane fell. 85 north is now 2 distinct pieces. This will impact traffic from Maine to Florida and some currently inconceivable distance to the west.
No injuries, so far. Theyve closed in southbound lanes (in some sort of twisted solidarity?) . You see it from the news choppers. On one side of the canyon, cars for miles, all the ramps are full and stopped, surface streets around it are clogged. On the other side, nothing.
Gonna take a minute to fix.

Yes. Thai basil is great with coconut milk based dishes and Pho. I've been eat a lot of ****ty Pho from Campbell's that happens to use veggie broth. Sriracha and hoisin haven't been able to save it, but I am hoping for better things once I can throw in fresh basil.
