Well, it is just her stage name...and the whole point of this conversation was less pics.

I've been to Detroit somewhat recently...it is where America keeps their black people.

I switched after iPhone 4s to a Note 4, and GW got an iPhone 6.

Pretty much the only thing to miss about iPhone is Siri. The personal assistant feature is so meh on my phone that I stoped using it.

Ways my phone beat GW's:
Battery life
Replaceable battery
Screen resolution
Speaker Volume and quality
Voice text accuracy: my phone even sorts out homophone better. "They're over there with their dog."
The S-pen, with which I provide you all my beautiful works of art.
WiFi connections--my phone gets further away but only a little
Personal preference: I like having a physical back button. It often gets me out of ads faster.

Did Samsung bring back replaceable batteries yet? I'll never understand why they dropped that feature in Note 5. It is much nicer to carry around a slim back up battery that fits in my girl wallet (slightly too long for a man wallet, I think,) than an unwieldy cord/plug.

All these young uns with their fancy stuff. I got my Wii, my Samsung and a tv. I'm set.
Lol, this.
(+/- laptop, and wireless printer)

I'm done with gadgets until I can inexpensively print missing screws and buttons etc. Although, it would be nice if my appliances and lights would talk to my phone.

Oh, and a visual, phone connected doorbell...I've been lusting after that for a few years.

AVOID UNNECESSARY SOCIAL CONTACT AT ALL COSTS

I've got an iphone 5 (from work) and a Moto G. I still use the Moto G as alarm

I wish my work gave me an iPhone 5.

My mum had to give me mine.

True story: My Mom just got her first smart phone 2 months ago. She still gets upset if you call it instead of waiting until she gets to her home phone. She also won't ask Siri funny questions "In case it screws things up."

My father only learned how to use "The Google" last year.

my dad is upset he can't get pokerstars on this ipad so he says he is getting and should have gotten a laptop.

he also told me to give up on accountancy tonight. when I asked him what i should do instead, he said pick something.

Home phones are still a thing???

sending lines into the land... it just sounds so primitive.

Fun fact: the internet exists thanks to enormous cables running through the atlantic ocean
08-30-2016 , 10:56 AM
You sound very knowledgable, do you work with these cables?
08-30-2016 , 11:07 AM
No

It was really rude for me to not answer your question, but you asked me to choose and frankly it wasn't easy to pick one. It's ice cream sandwich. Please quote this message and replays with appropriate photo.

I doubt a 2 month job search is exhaustive enough to give up on a 2 year degree. I feel pretty comfortable saying your resume is problem. There are free services in most first world communities that will proof read and format-check...you need one to get your foot in the door.

Actually, I have an Internet home phone for calling Canada, and to insure there is always a working phone for babysitters, incase they forget their cellphone or it dies
..so I shouldn't be so hard on my parents. :I

Although another fun fact...my Dad had a flip phone for a decade, and didn't know how to turn it on or make or answer calls. It just sat in a drawer.
My Mom finally gave up and canceled it when she got her new phone.

Im picturing like a 45 year old man and woman not understanding basic technology, and it confuses me. Then I remember that you people are old, so your parents are probably ancient, and it starts to make sense.
08-30-2016 , 12:22 PM
My mom is 55; my dad is 65.
08-30-2016 , 12:28 PM
Maybe you're not as old as I thought you were
