I wish. Definitely over half, though.

I learned yesterday that he pho-chimney we have in our main room is hollow and big enough to run vents through so I'm gonna spend the money for wood/gas burning units in both basement and upstairs... good by 8k

Faux?

Sure, tbh I didn't even look it up because when I visualize the word and it's meaning "pho" comes to mind so I never doubted that was the correct spelling.

Depending on the interest rate, it can also be more financially prudent to finance a car than to buy it outright based on the time value of money.
1. Is not true here or in Ontario. I usually get about 10% off for paying cash. But when I say cash, I mean cash. I negotiate a price and bring hundred dollar bills.

2. Is reasonable if you have some sort of state-thing happening and can't do 1.

How's the basement coming along?

A pho chimney sounds delicious.

Also, forgot to say that I really like your layout, JM3. What will you use the loft for? Play area?

I usually get around 10% off, too, using financing

If its hollow and can be used as a chimney, is it really a faux-chimney..?

Bought a brand new car 2 years ago, didn't get a better price if I were to pay cash. Note that I was in French Canada and that I had corporate discount, ymmv

Thanks. Yup.
I feel like I've entered a pissing contest and I really shouldn't.

I look on autotrader. I find the lowest price in a day's drive. And then I get a couple grand off that, locally. You are not paying the same price I do. Much as you'd like to believe you are.

I'm not sure that we're comparing apples to apples, but I'm sure there are certainly places that would prefer one, & different places that would prefer the other.

Have a friend who was really happy when he leased his car through True Car recently. Seemed relevant

the interior is wood box and drywall lined so it's not an actual chimney, the vent duct needs some clearance between combustible material. So it's like a cover of vent pipes more than a chimney

Look at how tall that is. There's a bunch of it. You could call it mo' pho, imo.
Exactly what you'd expect in the home.of a giant.
